Pixelmon Bosses

Throughout Pixelmon the player will often come across Pixelmon Bosses. These Pokemon will be often found to be much higher scaled with levels unlike normal Pokemon, the scaling will usually be based on the highest level in the player’s party when as battle is engaged.  Bosses will have a colour tint with can be identified towards a level and rarity, this is not to be confused with a shiny Pixelmon.

Uncommon – Green – 5+
Rare – Yellow – 10+
Legendary – Red – 20+
Ultimate – Orange – 40+

Boss Pokemon will often drop a type of item when defeated too, here is a compiled list.

Uncommon/Rare bosses also have a 1/3 Chance (33%) to drop a Rare Candy, which enables an instant level up when given to a Poke. Legendary/Ultimate bosses have a higher chance of 1/2 (50%) to drop Rare Candy. This is additional towards the Boss drops, meaning you could get an Orb and 1 Rare Candy from a Legendary/Ultimate boss or 2 Rare Candies from an Uncommon/Rare boss!
